We make good corporate programmes, mostly for use internally. They are often training tools or communication tools and we regularly create short programmes to be included in conferences and live events.

This is reel of example techniques and samples from a variety of the more recent programmes that we are able to show

This is an example video insert from a DFS conference:

Technology

We work to UK broadcast standards most of the time - that means we shoot on Digi-Betacam broadcast cameras and edit using our four in-house AVID non-linear edit suites. Increasingly we are shooting HDCAM or HDV tape as HD becomes more popular.

Distribution

We supply programmes as MPEG / AVI / WMV / Quicktime / FLV files for use in computer based presentations including PowerPoint and on the web. The most popular format for viewing remains DVD with some diehard companies still requesting VHS copies. We create multi-menu DVDs and duplicate in large numbers.

Techniques

Video techniques and technology are all well and good but what makes corporate programmes work is the way we get the message across - and for us that usually means keeping things real. We write relevant scripts, get to know the message and the audience and create treatments that explain or visualise the message in a short, interesting and relevant way. We like to add fun if it's appropriate and we don't add tricky and expensive techniques just to win an award or increase the cost.

Budget

We are not as cheap as the wedding video people you'll find in the Yellow Pages, nor as expensive as posh agencies - what we strive to offer is good value (we are about to see one of our award winning Health and Safety videos retired after 10 years service training over 100,000 people). We work to an agreed, fixed budget and stick to it.
