If you are responsible for organising a conference or event, we can provide as much or as little support as you need. Some of our clients prefer us to take care of everything with them checking what we are doing periodically and signing off the key milestones. Others know exactly what they want to do and which aspects they want to do themselves, and we provide all the support and additional skills and expertise they need to make it happen.

There are lots of different types of conference and the principles are broadly the same - have delegates, register them, get them to the venue, have presentations, maybe exhibition, maybe dinner, maybe breakouts, maybe teambuild, get them home, measure and share afterwards.

 

Our conferences are usually for retail clients and so the audience is typically captive - we know who they are. We mostly deal with group sizes of 50, 300, 1000 - sometimes less, occasionally more. We do everything if we are asked to and as little as necessary if that's what's needed.

DELEGATE MANAGEMENT

We'll invite them, take payment if need be, manage their information and communication, book their hotel, flight, coach or train, issue tickets, badges, passes and agendas. 

On site we will look after them, their transfers, their luggage, we'll register them, greet them and make them feel welcome. We'll direct them, look after their emergencies, questions and concerns and after we're got them home, we'll take their feedback, share photos, presentations, videos, Q&A and everything else...


VENUE FINDER
We offer a free venue finding service (free if we take the commission or chargeable with a small fee if we negotiate the discount if that makes it cheaper for you). The advantage of using us to find the venue is that we know about conferences so we can foresee the pitfalls of bad access, car parking, power, ceiling heights, floor loadings, life sizes and so on. We also don't depend on the commission - many of the venues we book don't offer commission, but if they are right for the job then we book them and lose out. A good venue needs its bedrooms too so we block book and manage the bedroom bookings at the same time.

CONTENT PRODUCTION
Working with you, we get to know your audience and understand your messages then we can get to work helping to make the presentations more engaging, interactive, exciting (if need be) and add a bit of sparkle everywhere.

We make video inserts using our in-house team, design more interesting PowerPoint presentations, use other technology, staging, live performances, special effects - a whole host of tricks as well as engaging script writing, storytelling and analogies to get the message home.
And if it's right we'll use a host or celebrity. 


STAGING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
However large or small you can walk away with the reassurance that the technical stuff is in hand - all the compatibility worries, failure concerns (we do get rare failures but we always have backup to switch to immediately so no-one notices) and understanding what's needed - we look after lighting, video, graphics, sound, pyrotechnicals, stage building, power, rigging and everything else. We do lots of car reveals.

ENTERTAINMENT
We have a massive contact list of bands, entertainers and promoters so we can find whatever you need - from Morris Dancers to Girls Aloud (we've used both) - we've had the pleasure to work with a good selection of artists including the Sugababes, The Enemy, The Saturdays, Jools Holland, Marc Almond, Ruby Turner, Russell Watson and most recently Pixie Lott (she's had 2 number ones in 2009) - we've booked novelty acts like Stavros Flatley (very funny)  from Britain's Got Talent and Four Poofs and a Piano (from Jonathon Ross) as well interactive bands like Rockeoke (who toured with Chris Moyles in summer 2009 with the Radio 1 roadshow). We also book cheap and good party bands and everything else - funfairs, street entertainers, orchestras magicians and our absolute favourite a troupe of firework dancers that have to be seen to be believed.


SUPPORT
Everything that stresses out Event Managers, the event logo, printing guides and invitations, arranging the posters, graphics, branding, badges, menus, tastings, VIPs - anything and everything that goes into a fantastic event.

We are there to support - not to take over or dictate (and not to rip off) - but to simply be there with lots and lots of experience to make everything right. That's out job.
